#5 in Both Polls

Georgetown was ranked #5 in the first AP Top 25 of the season and received one first place vote. This marks the first time the Hoyas have been in the top 5 of the AP Poll since Allen Iverson and the Hoyas were ranked fourth in the final poll of 1996.
Grady Rivers Sr, grandfather to Georgetown sophomore guard Jeremiah Rivers, passed away this weekend at the age of 76. Please keep Jeremiah and the entire Rivers family in your thoughts and prayers.
