Vernon to Gainesville

According to Fox Sports, Vernon Macklin has decided where he wants to transfer to: the University of Florida. He will have to sit out next year and then will have two years of eligibility for the Gators.
The Utah Jazz defeated the Houston Rockets 113-91 on Friday, sending Dikembe Mutombo home for the summer. Dikembe was the last Hoya still in the NBA playoffs after the Lakers sent Allen Iverson and the Nuggets packing last week.
