Open Practice and NBA Action
By Hoya Hoops- The Hoyas had their annual Hoya Hoop Club open practice on Friday and then scrimmaged against George Mason on Saturday. The scrimmage was closed to the press, and none of us could make it to the open practice, so we have very little details. Check out the Hoya Talk board for any details on the open practice.
- Allen Iverson made his debut for the Detroit Pistons over the weekend falling both to the Nets in his first game as a Piston and to the Celtics in his first home game in Detroit.
- Roy Hibbert had a career highs Friday in the Pacers’ losing effort against Cleveland on Friday. He scored 11 points, pulled down nine rebounds, and had a pair of assists. Unfortunately, he also had a career high in personal fouls, fouling out of the game with nine minutes to play.
Roy’s next game is tonight at 7:00 against former teammate Jeff Green and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
