New Year’s Resolutions
By Hoya HoopsIt’s now 2009, and at the start of a new year it is always good to try to change your life for the better. Often times, people make resolutions for themselves to try to improve. Today, we are asking you to make resolutions for someone else. For the Georgetown Hoyas, in fact.
What New Year’s resolutions should the Hoyas make?
We think that the team should resolve to limit turnovers. The Hoyas are averaging almost 14 turnovers a game, and with the tough defense played in the Big East, that number will go up unless the Hoyas make a concerted effort take care of the ball more. What do you think the New Year’s resolutions of the team, players, or coaches should be? Post your answers in the comments.

Improve our fastbreak efficiency. Now that we’re running more, let’s convert 2 on 1s and 3 on 2s into easy baskets.

definitely to increase their rebounding and improvement of the 6th, 7th and 8th man (off the bench).

I agree with Sami and Bobby… get Sims more playing time to develop, tell Wright and Sims to stop shooting three’s and rebound, get Omar and Nik some more time somewhere so the top 6 won’t be so run down toward the end of the season.

My top 3:
1. Defensive Rebounding
2. Defensive Rebounding
3. Getting Clark and Sims more minutes and keeping Sims from jacking up those ridiculous 3s he hardly ever makes.
