Top-Ranked Panthers Lose
By Hoya Hoops- The Hoyas were defeated in their last non-conference game of the season, losing to Duke 76-67. DaJuan Summers led the Hoyas with 21 points, but freshman Greg Monroe had foul trouble and played only 28 minutes.
- The top team in the nation lost this weekend, as the top-ranked Pittsburgh Panthers fell to the Louisville Cardinals 69-63. Terrence Williams led all scorers with 20 points as the Cardinals handed Pittburgh its first loss of the season.
- Two other undefeated teams duked it out over the weekend, with Wake Forest coming out the victor over the Clemson Tigers 78-68. Jeff Teague had 24 points and five assists for the Demon Deacons, who are now the last remaining unbeaten team.
