Green’s Heroics Can’t Prevent Thunder Loss

The Hoyas lost their fifth straight game on Saturday, falling to the Marquette Golden Eagles, 94-82, who along with Louisville remain unbeaten in the Big East.
Two Top 5 dropped another game, as Duke lost to Wake Forest in the final seconds and Pittsburgh fell to Villanova. Both of those games were on Wednesday night.
Jeff Green’s Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Sacramento Kings last night 122-118 in overtime. At the end of regulation, though, with his team down by three, Jeff was at the free throw line to shoot two. He made the first, intentionally missed the second, got his own rebound, and scored to force overtime. You can check out the video here: [NBA.com]
