Five out of Ten

With the new polls released yesterday, the Big East only has five teams in the Top 25. But according to the AP Poll, those five teams – #1 Pittsburgh, #2 Connecticut, #6 Louisville, #8 Marquette, and #10 Villanova – are all ranked in the top ten in the nation.
Newly ranked #1 Pittsburgh’s center DeJuan Blair was named Big East Player of the Week after getting 20+ points and rebounds against UCONN last Monday. West Virginia’s Ebanks was named Big East Rookie of the Week.
Georgetown lost at home to Louisville on Big Monday 76-58 during what ESPN is calling Judgment week.
