The Georgetown Hoyas accepted an invitation to the NIT, earning the #6 seed in the Auburn region. The Hoyas will travel to take on the #3 seed Baylor Bears from the Big 12 in their opening round match-up on Wednesday night at 9:00pm. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

With a record of 16-14, Georgetown enters the NIT with the fewest regular season wins of all 32 participating teams.
