Clippers Get Top Pick
By Hoya Hoops- Duke forward Gerald Henderson signed with an agent, making him ineligible to return to Duke for his senior season. Henderson led the Blue Devils in scoring last year.
- The Los Angeles Clippers jumped up two spots to claim the number one pick in the NBA Draft. Sacramento and Washington, who were the two most likely teams to win the lottery, dropped to fourth and fifth respectively, as the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder improved their status as well, getting the second and third picks. This is fifth consecutive year that the worst team in basketball does not get the top pick in the draft.
- With the first pick, speculation is for the Clippers to take National Player of the Year Blake Griffin from the Oklahoma Sooners.
