Revenge
By Hoya HoopsIn the Pregame Predictions before the Harvard game, we asked which team would have more shot attempts. The Hoyas were victorious 86-70 and had a whopping 13 more shots than their opponents. Emily was the closest with her guess of six more shots for the Hoyas, so she wins. There was a little controversy this week, as Bryan said “they would have 10 more shot attempts,” but failed to specify who “they” were. So, we have to assume “they” means Harvard and “we” means Georgetown. Sorry, Bryan!
The Hoyas begin Big East play tomorrow against St. John’s. Most Georgetown fans will remember the two devastating losses to the Red Storm in the span of a week last year that shattered the hopes the Hoyas had for making the NCAA tournament. And those lucky fans who don’t remember must have already blocked those games out of their minds. The Hoyas have a chance to erase the memory of last season’s losses with a strong performance tomorrow.
After Christ Wright’s career high in points last game, we wonder which Hoya will step it up against the Red Storm.
Who will lead the Hoyas in scoring, and how many points will he have?
We think that Greg Monroe will take his first step to claiming Big East Player of the Year honors tomorrow, scoring 22 points in a win. Who do you think will lead the team? Post your guesses.

Still recovering from the loss to Old Dominion. Maybe they will find their way into the Top 25 like Temple…Jason Clark will hit a barage of 3′s together with several fast break 2′s – I say Jason Clark snaps out of his slump with a 21 pointer game. Go Hoyas!
