The Big Three

By Hoya Hoops

The Georgetown Hoyas suffered a heartbreaking 62-59 loss to Marquette yesterday. Our Pregame Predictions asked you to guess the number of points the Hoyas would need to score in order to win. 63 was the magic number, meaning Bob from Columbia hit the nail on the head. Well done, Bob!

The Hoyas must now refocus as they prepare to square off against perennial powerhouse UCONN. The Huskies enter the game ranked 13th in the country, and the loser of this one will find it an uphill battle to stay in the hunt for a Big East regular season title.

Mike mentioned that when all three of Georgetown’s premiere players perform, they are hard to beat. Austin Freeman, Chris Wright, and Greg Monroe will all have to be at the top of their game to take on Connecticut.

How many combined points will the Big Three have?

It’s a big stage for the Hoyas, and we have a feeling everyone will raise their level of play. We are going to say 55 total points, with a little help from Jason Clark and Julian Vaughn to cement a win.

Tell us your guesses in the comments.
