Reining in Reynolds
By Hoya HoopsGeorgetown had a relatively easy game against Seton Hall, holding a double digit lead for most of the game en route to a 85-73 victory that had very little drama. Unless you were following the Pregame Predictions for that game where we asked which Hoya would lead the team in scoring. That contest went down to the wire, with Chris Wright barely edging out Jason Clark, 21 to 20. Two people picked Wright, but Emily was exactly right with her guess of 21 points. Congrats, Emily!
Against the Pirates, the Hoyas held super scorer Jeremy Hazell to six points under his season average. Georgetown now travel to Philadelphia to take on Scottie Reynolds and the #4 Villanova Wildcats on Sunday. Reynolds is scoring almost 24 points a game in Big East action, and we are wondering how good a job the Hoyas will do at containing him.
How many points will Scottie Reynolds have, and on how many shots?
We anticipate this to be a closely-fought the whole way, with Reynolds getting 18 points, but on 15 shots.
How will Scottie fare? Post your guesses below.

56-60 Hoyas in an ugly, slow game where Monroe, Vaughn and Sims have a lot of fouls and a lot of blocks.
I mean I’m driving to Philly, so I’m hoping we play the kind of game we need to in order to win! GO HOYAS

Doug…not sure what question you answered but you may want to try another guess. It sure doesn’t feel like we’ve won the last 5 vs Nova and 7 of last 10…they’ve been nail biters and I never look forward to a game vs Nova. Gtown has for the most part been able to contain the opposittion’s leading scorer but I think they will have a hard time tomorrow. My guess is Reynolds will score 19 pts on 14 shot attempts.

Scottie will get his points. I’ll say 21pts on 16 shots
