Taming Rosario

By Hoya Hoops

Before the Providence game, we asked everyone how you thought the Hoyas would shoot from the field? As it turns out, Georgetown shot 51.7% off of 30-58 shooting.

Zo was right on the money with his guess of 52% and is comment, “not that good by our standards, but high enough to beat the Friars.” So congrats to Zo for winning back-to-back Pregame Predictions.

On Sunday, the Hoyas face off against Rutgers at the RAC. Rutgers is only 2-9 in the conference, but both of those wins came at home, and they’ve just defeated out of conference Caldwell at the RAC, so they have a three-game home winning streak going on.

In those three home victories, Mike Rosario is averaging over 27 points a game. The last time these teams met, the Hoyas held Rosario to 15. So here’s this game’s question:

How many points will Mike Rosario score for Rutgers, and how will he shoot?

We think Clark will shut down Rosario for most of the game, but he’ll still end up with 18 points off of 5-14 shooting.

What do you think?
