Three Pointers
By Hoya HoopsBefore Georgetown’s upset win over top-seeded Syracuse, we asked you who would score more second half points. The Hoyas trailed by three at halftime, and would fall behind by as many as nine in the second before breaking out with a 19-2 run that would propel them to a seven point victory. Down three to up seven, that means Georgetown was +10 in the second half, which means Zo was the closest with his guess of +11. Nice work.
The Hoyas continue their quest for an eighth Big East Tournament Championship tonight against Marquette in the conference semifinals. The last time these two teams met, Marquette shot 26 three pointers and connected on 12, led by David Cubillan 6-6 performance. Three point shooting could make the difference this time as well.
How many three’s will the Hoyas make, and who will lead the team?
We think Austin Freeman will find his groove again – he is 0-6 so far in the tournament – and lead the Hoyas, who make nine three pointers. Give us your guesses in the comments.

My guess is the Hoyas will make 11 three pointers led by Jason Clark. He is in the zone lately (finally and it’s great to see). Hopefully he will continue to be aggressive offensively and shoot the ball well from the perimeter. Great win vs Cuse today! Sweet revenge! Marquette is next!
