Ayegba to Miss First Nine Games
By JohnnyGeorgetown just announced that freshman Moses Ayegba will be forced to miss the first nine games of the season due to an NCAA ruling.
Before we began recruiting Moses, before he enrolled in high school here, it turns out his ticket to come to this country was paid for by someone who was not a member of his immediate family. Because of this the NCAA has ruled that he is ineligible for the first 9 contests. We’re disappointed that the NCAA rejected our appeal of this ruling.
That means we won’t see #32 in action until one month from now when the Hoyas take on Appalachian State.

Before he enrolled in high school? And the NCAA thinks there’s some infraction there? Even though I don’t know any specifics, my general opinion is that the NCAA is a joke. Hang in there Moses, see you when we’re 9-0!
