Rebounds
By Hoya HoopsThe Hoyas overcame a poor shooting performance to defeat Marquette 69-60 at Verizon Center on Sunday. Before the game, we asked you to guess how many assists the team would have. The Hoyas dished out 14 assists, led by Chris Wright’s five, which means we have a tie. Both Bobby in Tennessee and Bob from Columbia guessed 14, so they are both right. Good job, Bobs!
The Hoyas put their wining streak on the line tomorrow in Hartford, as they take on the Connecticut Huskies. The Huskies are one of the better rebounding teams in the league, averaging almost 41 rebounds a game, compared to Georgetown’s 34.3 a game. After the strong performance in the second half of the Marquette game on the boards, we wonder how the Hoyas will do against UCONN.
How many rebounds will the Hoyas have, and who will lead the team?
