According to The Hoya, sophomore reserve guard Vee Sanford is transferring from Georgetown to an as yet undisclosed university. Due to the size of the incoming freshman class and the availability of scholarships, there was some speculation that someone would be transferring, and now those rumors have been confirmed, according to Sports Information Director Mex Carey. Here is Vee’s tweet regarding his decision:

No animosity toward gtown. I just feel its best 4 me2 move on.I’ve learned a lot and Its been a humbling experience .Thank u hoya nation.
