Underclassmen

By Hoya Hoops

The Hoyas survived a wild game in Tuscaloosa, losing a nine point lead in the last three minutes of the game only to make a three pointer with under 2 seconds left to defeat the Crimson Tide 57-55. In that game, the Hoyas hit seven threes, with four coming from Jason Clark and two coming from Hollis Thompson, including the game winner. In the Pregame Predictions we asked how many threes the team would make. Julien was exactly right with his guess of seven, with Clark leading the way. Good job!

The Hoyas now have four game home stretch before traveling to Louisville to start conference play. The first of those games is tomorrow against NJIT. In the Alabama game, the upperclassmen trio of Clark, Thompson, and Henry Sims combined to score 47 of the team’s 57 points. We want to know if the younger players will provide more offense in the upcoming game.

How many points will the underclassmen combine for, and who will lead them?

We are guessing that the freshmen and sophomores will score 40 points, and Nate Lubick will be the high scorer among them. Let us know you point predictions in the comments.
