The Battle of the Boards
By Hoya HoopsThe Hoyas dropped their first conference game of the season on Saturday, losing to West Virginia 74-62. We asked before the game how many points the Big Three would score. The trio of Jason Clark, Henry Sims, and Hollis Thompson combined for 40 points, which means that bobby cox was exactly correct. Nicely done!
Georgetown looks to get back on the winning track tonight at home against Cincinnati. A disturbing trend for the team recently has been rebounding, as the Hoyas have been outrebounded in each of the past three games. In close games, a few boards can make all the difference.
What will the rebounding margin be, and, as a tiebreaker, who will lead the team?
Our guess is that the Hoyas will be +1, with Otto Porter leading the way. Put your +/- guesses in the comments.
