Hey everybody. Johnny here from Verizon Center, half an hour before tipoff of Georgetown's last home game of the season as they face off against Notre Dame. We were tricked last time, but today really is senior night, so they will be honoring Jason Clark and Henry Sims before tonight's game.

These two sides are fighting for position in the big East standings, and thanks to a big Saturday with Georgetown beating Villanova and Notre Dame losing to St. John's, the Hoyas can leapfrog the Irish and move into 3rd place in the standings with a win tonight.

Notre Dame has struggling on the road this season, but tonight is a huge game for them, and as always, they have a fair share of fans in the Verizon Center. Hopefully, the Hoyas can keep the Irish fans quiet with a strong start to this one.

As always, I'll be checking in throughout the game with news and updates, but for now, here's all the info I've got:

According to the big screen, the Hoya starters are Clark, Thompson, Porter, Lubick, and Sims. So no Starks again.

The Irish look to start Atkins, Martin, Grant, Connaughton, and Cooley.

The refs for tonight's game are going to be Anthony Greene, John Gaffney, and Ed Corbett.

Hey everybody, Johnny here, sitting courtside as we're about half an hour away from tipoff on Georgetown's Senior Day. It's the Hoyas' next to last home game, but with Villanova coming to town, the Athletic Department thought this afternoon's game would be a better day to honor Jason Clark and Henry Sims with a Gray Out.

The entire lower bowl is covered with Gray Out! t-shirts, and the students who are already here are dressed accordingly. With Georgetown in a close battle near the top of the Big East standings and games against Notre Dame and Marquette to close out the season, the Hoyas need to finish out strong, and a win today against a struggling Villanova team is critical.

I'll be updating you throughout the game with stats and comments from the Verizon Center, but until the Senior Day festivities get started, here's the information I have for you:

The Hoyas look to have a change in the starting lineups today - Clark, Thompson, Lubick, Sims, and Otto Porter replacing Markel Starks.

The Wildcats are prepared to send out Johnson, Yarou, <del>Pinkston</del> Wayns, Cheek, and Sutton.

The refs for this afternoon's game are Gary Prager, Ed Hightower, and Pat Driscoll.

Hey everybody, Johnny here, sitting courtside at the Verizon Center about 15 minutes away from tipoff of this year's second meeting between your Georgetown Hoyas and the St. John's Red Storm. Last time these teams met, the Hoyas won by twenty in New York thanks to an impressive 20-point second half performance by Hollis Thompson. Today, as the Hoyas look to bounce back from their disappointing overtime loss in Syracuse, a solid performance from Hollis Thompson will go a long way.

Both teams have headed back to the locker rooms for one more talk with the coaches before the anthem, and while they're getting ready, here's the info I have for you so far.

The Hoyas look set to start the same five - Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The Red Storm are set to start Greene, Harkless, Harrison, Pointer, and Garrett.

Hey everybody, Johnny here, sitting courtside as we're about fifteen minutes away from tipoff between your Georgetown Hoyas and the Connecticut Huskies.

Both teams are in the middle of a rough stretch as UCONN has dropped their last three straight and while the Hoyas have done a little better, they still picked up three losses in January, most recently with the defeat at Pittsburgh.

It's going to be a big game tonight with both teams fighting for positioning in the tough Big East. We'll have to see which Georgetown team shows up today, and how well they can contain Jeremy Lamb.

The Hoyas look set to start the same five as usual - Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The Huskies will start Lamb, Giffey, Boatright, Drummond, and Smith.

And the refs for tonight are Ed Corbett, Michael Stephens, and Jeff Anderson.

Hey everybody. Johnny sitting here courtside at Verizon Center as the Hoyas are wrapping up a set of warmups before today's game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Markel Starks, who sat out against DePaul due to illness was warming up with the team, and his name is on the scoreboard as a starter. That's been known to change at gametime though, so we'll have to see if he's ready to play.

The Hoyas are coming home after a two-game road trip where they earned two victories at St. John's and DePaul. Everyone's calling Georgetown the surprise team in the Big East after their impressive start to the season, but this Rutgers team should be turning a few heads as well. With wins over Pittsburgh, Notre Dame and Connecticut, they're sitting at 3-3 in the conference and are no joke. The Hoyas will have a real test today against a team having their best conference start since 2004.

I'll be checking back in throughout the game with more news and updates. But for now here's what I have:

The listed starters for the Hoyas are Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

Rutgers are set to start Seagears, Mack, Carter, Miller, and Biruta.

The refs for today are going to be Bob Donato, Joe Lindsay, and John Gaffney.

Hey everyone, Johnny here, sitting on the baseline at the new Madison Square Garden as the Hoyas are set to face off against the St. John's Red Storm in a little under half an hour.

Both sides are coming off of two consecutive losses, with Georgetown falling to West Virginia on the road and Cincinnati at home, and St. John's losing at Cincinnati and Marquette. Both teams are looking to end that streak with a victory this afternoon, so expect a highly contested Big East matchup.

The teams are shooting around right now with the Hoyas in their blue hoodie warmups, and the Red Storm in their standard red and white.

I don't have starting lineups or referee info. I recognize John Cahill and Mike Stephens, but I don't think I've ever seen that third ref before.

I'll be filling you in with that and any other information I get as the game goes on, so keep it here or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Hey everyone, Johnny here sitting courtside an hour before tonight's late night game between the #11 Georgetown Hoyas and the Cincinnati Bearcats. Both sides are coming off of their first losses of 2012, with Georgetown 3-1 in conference play, and Cincinnati 2-1.

The students are back from winter break, as the GU Pep Band is getting set up right now. Behind me, there are some students with signs about last year's game vs Cincinnati when Chris Wright broke his hand.
Revenge Has Never Felt So Wright
So Much WRIGHTeous Anger

I'll be updating everyone throughout the game in the comments, but as of right now, here's the information I already have for you:

The Hoyas look set to start the same five - Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The scoreboard here says the Bearcats will be sending out Wright, Dixon, Jackson, Kilpatrick, and Parker. (But that's been wrong before.)

The refs tonight are Karl Hess, Tony Greene, and Jeff Clark.

Hey everyone, Johnny here sitting courtside an hour before tonight’s late night game between the #11 Georgetown Hoyas and the Cincinnati Bearcats. Both sides are coming off of their first losses of 2012, with Georgetown 3-1 in conference play, and Cincinnati 2-1.

The students are back from winter break, as the GU Pep Band is getting set up right now. Behind me, there are some students with signs about last year’s game vs Cincinnati when Chris Wright broke his hand.
Revenge Has Never Felt So Wright
So Much WRIGHTeous Anger
Beat Cincy – It’s the Wright Thing to Do

I’ll be updating everyone throughout the game in the comments, but as of right now, here’s the information I already have for you:

The Hoyas look set to start the same five – Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The scoreboard here says the Bearcats will be sending out Wright, Dixon, Jackson, Kilpatrick, and Parker. (But that’s been wrong before.)

The refs tonight are Karl Hess, Tony Greene, and Jeff Clark.

Keep checking back for more updates and to leave your own thoughts below.

Hello Hoya fans. Johnny here sitting courtside at the Verizon Center before the Hoyas' Big East home opener against the Providence Friars. Georgetown is coming off of their big win at Louisville to get their conference season started, while Providence is 0-1 in the Big East, falling to St. John's on the road on Tuesday.

The band's not here; the cheerleaders aren't here; the students aren't here; practically nobody's here. So the Hoyas' conference home opener is going to be a little bit different than Louisville's with 22,500+ fans. But we've still got half an hour until opening tip. Hopefully more Hoya faithful will swing by to see the ballgame before the ball drops.

Here are the starters and officials for you:

Georgetown will be starting the same five - Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The Friars look set to start Coleman, Cotton, Henton, Council, and <del>Dixon</del> Batts.

The refs for this afternoon's matchup are Pat Driscoll, John Gaffney, and Wally Rutecki.

Hey everybody, Johnny here in Louisville, Kentucky about half an hour away from the start of Georgetown's Big East season as they take on the Louisville Cardinals at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals haven't been beaten here since New Year's Eve 2010. Let's see if Georgetown can make it an end-of-the-year tradition.

It's the Hoyas first trip to the new KFC Yum! Center. The last time Georgetown traveled to Louisville it was the penultimate game for the Cardinals in Freedom Hall. The Hoyas were victorious in their last game at Freedom Hall, and their first game at the Yum! Center is just minutes away. The team just headed back to their new locker room after a set of warmups in their road navy blue unis, and the anthem is set to start in 25 minutes.

I'll be updating as much as I can during the game, but I hear that the wireless is spotty inside the arena. So while I have a connection, here's what I have for you:

The Hoyas are set to start the same five as all season - Starks, Clark, Thompson, Lubick, and Sims.

The Cardinals will be sending out Kuric, Behanan, Dieng, Siva, and Chris Smith.

The refs for tonight's game are Jim Burr, Karl Hess, and Mike Roberts.
