Maybe it’s a little early to start worrying about at-large NCAA Tournament bids, but this weekend’s game between Georgetown and Memphis is a pretty big game for the Hoyas. Not because the committee will potentially look back to this early season game to determine if the Hoyas are worthy of a bid, but because if the Hoyas lose, they have a chance of being knocked out of the Top 25. A New Rivalry
By TonyThere’s not really a rivalry between Georgetown and Memphis, but you wouldn’t know that from the way the teams have played each other over the years. There are lots of reasons why it could happen, but it most certainly will. So, the question that arises is twofold: can the team respond in-game when it’s “one of those days” to pull out a victory, and how does the team bounce back in the next game.
