The Georgetown Hoyas gave their fans an early Christmas present, coasting to a 76-38 win over a depleted Florida International side. After lacking intensity in their previous win, the Hoyas came out out of the gate focused, hitting seven of their first eight shots en route to an early 20-4 lead. The game would never get closer.

All Hoyas scored in Georgetown’s final tune-up before the start of the Big East season, led by Austin Freeman, who had 17. Chris Wright, DaJuan Summers and Greg Monroe joined Freeman in double figures, while the Golden Panther’s Michael Dominguez poured in 20 points in a losing effort.

Georgetown now enters the conference portion of season, taking on the second-ranked Connecticut Huskies in the first Big Monday game of the year. Tip-off is scheduled for December 29th at 7 PM.
