Upcoming Hoya Charity Events

By Johnny

The first game of the season may still be two months away, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to keep us busy until then. Georgetown is the oldest Jesuit university in America, and John Thompson III has really taken the Jesuit mission to heart, trying to be a man for others through service.

JTIII Foundation: September 18 and 19

This weekend, the John Thompson III Foundation is hosting charity events to benefit the Washington Jesuit Academy, an all-male middle school in DC. A part of the Third Annual Foundation Weekend, the benefit dinner will take place on Friday night at WJA, and there will also be a JTIII Community Fest going on on Saturday. 2009-10 Schedule Released, Google Calendar Available

By Hoya Hoops

Georgetown (along with the rest of the Big East) announced their 2009-10 schedule yesterday, which is now available at GUHoyas.com.

We at HoyaHoops have already made our new Google Calendar with all the info available. So far, all that’s been announced is the games’ dates and locations, along with some TV information. Syracuse GameWe will continue to update the calendar with times, radio stations, and new television information once that is announced.

And as usual, we will be updating the calendar as the season progresses to include rankings, previews, scores, and more. (For an example of all the things we’ll be adding, check out last year’s calendar.)

Here is where you can find all that you need: 2009-10 Schedule.
