Abraham Verbally Commits to Georgetown
By Hoya HoopsNigerian-born Moses Abraham verbally committed to play basketball for the Hoyas today, according to the Washington Post.
Both Georgetown and the University of Maryland were competing for the 6-9 center/power forward, who chose Georgetown shortly after a conversation with both father and son Coach Thompson’s. Abraham now joins Nate Lubick, Markel Starks, and Aaron Bowen in the Hoyas’ class of 2014.

A bit of good news after our disappointing showing in the NCAAs. Moses Abraham will give us some needed muscle on the board and on defense.
In other good news, at leas for me, the Cuse has also disappointed (gee what a surprise). Butler led most of the game but Syracuse took a 54-50 lead with the ball with about 5 minutes to go but a 13-5 run by Butler doomed the Big East regular season champs.

I finally found something else on Moses Abraham. From Indiana’s point of view. Funny that there’s been nothing in print here in the area.
