Georgetown won its second game in two days, defeating Wofford 74-59 and advancing to the finals of the Charleston Classic.

The Hoyas jumped out to an early 9-0 lead, and went into the locker room with a 13 point lead, up 37-24.

As in the previous game, the Hoyas would have to withstand a run by their opponent to start the second half. The Terriers cut the lead to five early in the second, but Georgetown would respond, making key shots and slowly pulling away from their opponent.

The Hoyas used a more balanced attack than in previous games, with nine different Hoyas scoring, including freshman Markel Starks getting his first points of the season. Chris Wright led the Hoyas with 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Julian Vaughn had his best game of the season with a double-double, scoring 12 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and blocking four shots.

Noah Dahlman led all scorers with 19 points, but Ben Loesing would be saddled with foul trouble. The Terriers would only get four bench points in the loss, which drops them to 1-3 on the season.

The Hoyas now get a day off before taking on NC State the winner of the North Carolina State v. George Mason game in the Championship game. That game is scheduled for 7:30pm and will be televised on ESPNU.
