- Louisville made 22 three-pointers in their 104-69 thrashing of Hartford. Terrence Williams had a triple-double, 14 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists.
- Providence beat #18 ranked Arkansas Friday, paced by an 18 point effort by Brian McKenzie, but couldn’t keep the momentum rolling, losing to the Miami Hurricanes last night.
- Notre Dame lost to Baylor 68-64 in the semifinals of the Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands, despite a 22 point effort by sophomore forward Luke Harangody.
- South Florida defeated Florida State last night. Kentrell Gransberry led all scorers with 21. The Seminoles had a last second chance for the victory, but it missed, giving the Bulls the victory.
