A History of Defense

By Hoya Hoops

Earlier this week, Tony talked about the lack of defense in Georgetown’s loss to Pitt. That made us think of this question:

What is your favorite defensive play in Georgetown History?

We can think of lots, but one personal favorite was a game against UCONN in Landover in the 1991-92 season. The score was tied at 58 with under 15 seconds left, and the Huskies with the ball. Joey Brown stole a pass, took it all the way down for a layup as time expired, and the Hoyas were victorious 60-58.
