February 27th, 2008 at 9:01 pm
Yep, sorry everyone. I’m having trouble getting my computer on the network. Until I get that working, I’ll be blogging from my phone.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
Well, game’s about to start. Guess I’ll see if you’re up by halftime.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:06 pm
Hoyas lose the tip but Summers starts the scoring with a 3
February 27th, 2008 at 9:08 pm

February 27th, 2008 at 9:08 pm
what a play by sapp!!
February 27th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
St. John’s already has more field goals than they did in the whole 1st half last time these two teams met.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:14 pm
nice shove in the back there J
February 27th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
You could hear a St. John’s player scream “Let it go. Let it go.” Instead they opted to save it to Wallace
February 27th, 2008 at 9:17 pm
That would have been incredible, but Summers missed the monster jam.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:19 pm
16-9 Hoyas at the 16:00 timeout
February 27th, 2008 at 9:27 pm
this games getting ridiculous with all the tos
February 27th, 2008 at 9:27 pm
Has nobody scored in 8 minutes? Espn score hasn’t changed.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
At the 8:00 timeout, it’s 16-11. If you remember the score at the 16:00 timeout, that’s not too good
February 27th, 2008 at 9:33 pm
Yep. No scoring in a while. Now a spurt for the Hoyas.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:36 pm
Hey G-town we don’t always have to play to the level of our competition…
Let’s get some stops and some scores.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:36 pm
Hey everybody, I’m ready struggling here on my phone. I’m gonna lighten up with the commentary but I can answer any questions you send this way.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:38 pm
How was Hibbert’s dunk? Monster or just the same old put in.
February 27th, 2008 at 9:39 pm
thats ok good luck johnny
February 27th, 2008 at 9:40 pm
@Hoyas
Definitely not monster from Hibbert. DaJuan’s miss would have been monster, but it bounced out
February 27th, 2008 at 9:43 pm
def playing to level of opponent. Yuck
February 27th, 2008 at 9:46 pm
Way to step up Sapp!
February 27th, 2008 at 9:55 pm

February 27th, 2008 at 10:00 pm
Did Mescheriakov get in the game for G-town?
February 27th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
No Nikita so far. And not looking good so far in the 2nd
February 27th, 2008 at 10:09 pm
how many sju dunks??
February 27th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
He was listed in ESPN’s stat line. I thought that it was wrong. I think they were planning on red shirting him.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
They’re doing a lot of fun contests here today with people in silly costumes. So far it’s more entertaining than the game.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
Are the Hoyas just having three point shooting practice to get ready for the NCAA Tournament?
February 27th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
Its unclear what’s happening on offense. Besides all the outside shots there have been way too many unforced turnovers
February 27th, 2008 at 10:17 pm
Wow. That was the perfect fast break. Ball never touches the ground and it ends with a huge Ewing slam. That’s just how you do it in practice.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:20 pm
No more dunks …anyone comes down the lane put them on the free throw line…no more threes …guard someone…finally a 3 of our own.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
They just showed the Ewing dunk on ESPN…sweet!
February 27th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
The girl dressed like a Hooters waitress just won the costume contest and Big East Tournament tickets
February 27th, 2008 at 10:29 pm
From across the court Burr made that call go the wrong way and the fans let him know it
February 27th, 2008 at 10:29 pm
Was she just dressed that way or does she really work there? You should see if she needs a Hoya fan like yourself to join her.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:38 pm
I’m assuming she was just dressed like a waitress and I don’t think that was the real Burger King or Tigger.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:40 pm
Last game they said the winner would only get 1 ticket and train fare . . . she may be going by herself!
February 27th, 2008 at 10:41 pm
How many does Freeman have?
February 27th, 2008 at 10:41 pm
Live and die by the three. Nice freshman.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:42 pm
Only 6
February 27th, 2008 at 10:45 pm
Summers has had a great game and that 3 gave him 21 points and gave the Hoyaa a 12 point lead with 1:21 to go
February 27th, 2008 at 10:45 pm
Another 3… looks like the game is in hand…good win
February 27th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
24 three point attempts…that’s more attempts than twos…21
February 27th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
West Va is beating DePaul 74-59 on ESPN2. Thanks a lot ESPNU!
February 27th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
Theres the final buzzer. Hoyas win 64-52. Sorry about the technical problems on my end. I’ll try to gave everything sorted out by the weekend.
February 27th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
Thanks for the reporting… Let’s go Hoyas…
