While the Hoyas did not have a banner year this season, it’s been a completely different story for Coach Thompson’s former assistant coach Kevin Broadus.

Broadus, in his second season as the head coach of the Binghamton Bearcats. The Bearcats took home the first regular season title in school history (sharing that honor with Vermont this season) and Coach Broadus was named America East Coach of the Year. And tomorrow, Binghamton is set to play in the America East championship game.

They will be facing the Hoyas’ first round NCAA opponent from last year, the UMBC Retrievers, tomorrow at 11:00am in Binghamton. The championship game will be shown on ESPN2, so be sure to check in and cheer for Coach Broadus in his quest for an NCAA tournament bid.
