Without Austin

By Hoya Hoops

Last Pregame Predictions, we asked how many three pointers the Hoyas would make against Notre Dame. Not enough, apparently, as the Hoyas lost 78-64 to the Fighting Irish. But, Georgetown managed to hit eight three’s, with Jason Clark hitting four, and Chris Wright and Hollis Thompson each making two. Both Zo and Julien said eight, but since neither of them guessed Clark, we are going to call it a tie. Good work, both of you.

Many people guessed that Austin Freeman would lead the team in threes. However, that was before we knew of Freeman’s stomach flu that limited his minutes on Saturday. Austin will not be with the team tonight either, as he did not travel with the Hoyas to West Virginia. It’s a big game for the Hoyas, and Georgetown is still in danger of having to play on Tuesday in the Big East Tournament. The team will need a strong showing tonight against the Mountaineers.

Who will lead the Hoyas in scoring, and with how many points?

Without Freeman, we think Chris Wright will step up, scoring 24 points. Let us know your guesses in the comments.
