Studying Statistics During Exam Week
By TonyToday is Friday, which means that the Hoyas return to action tomorrow and that the most boring week of college basketball is over. Exam time means that there are few (if any) noteworthy games, and even when important teams are in action, they are playing teams that have as much chance to win as the Washington Generals do against the Harlem Globetrotters.
At any rate, exam week gave me some extra time to review the Hoyas’ season stats so far. So here are some things that may interest you. Even if you don’t find them interesting, keep in mind that yesterday there were ZERO Top 25 teams in action.
Johnny’s Old Dominion Postgame Thoughts

Georgetown:
The Hoyas lost their first game of the season, and their second game at McDonough in 27 years – or their second game against Old Dominion at McDonough in 3 years. I don’t know what caused the less-than-stellar performance, but Georgetown did not seem ready to play on Saturday night. The team looked like it was just going through the motions until the end of the second half, when it was just too little too late.
