For those of you wondering what happened to the sports score ticker at Verizon Center on Saturday, an athletic department source confirmed that a broken feed caused the problem, rather than the ticker being victim to the constant stream of flashing ads. Let’s hope the ticker is back on Thursday so we can keep tabs on the power match-ups between Connecticut and Gardner-Webb and Mississippi Valley at Pitt.
