Counting the Minutes
By Hoya HoopsBefore the Connecticut game, we asked everybody how many points Roy would put up against the Huskies. DJ said that he would score 22 points, and that we’d get to see a “big game from the big man on the big stage of the big east.” Well Roy certainly put on a show, scoring 20 points - his highest point total since the season opener against William and Mary. So congratulations to our resident sage, DJ.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Blue and Gray, who play tonight at Pittsburgh. That’s only one day of rest between two big games, and when you throw in traveling time, the Hoyas are going to be pretty tired come Tuesday. Seeing that the starters played 158 minutes on Saturday, we wondered how much rest those players would get tonight. So here’s our question for tonight:
Who will log the most minutes for the Hoyas, and how long will he play?
We’re gonna go with Austin Freeman, since he’s been playing a lot lately. And we’ll say he’ll play 33 minutes against the Panthers. What do you think?

How about Sapp. Didn’t he play a lot against UCONN? I’ll say he plays 31.
