Austin in the Championship

By Hoya Hoops

Before the Hoyas took on Marquette in the Big East Tournament semifinals, we asked everyone how many threes Georgetown would score. Everyone went over with their guesses because the Hoyas only connected on 6 of 12 from downtown, but Bob from Columbia was closest, so he get 2 steps closer to winning the Pregame Predictions title.

As the Big East prepares for its Championship matchup tonight, we look back to the last time these two teams met up, earlier this month. It was the only game all season in which leading scorer Austin Freeman did not play as he was back at Georgetown Hospital.

The Hoyas are a different team without Free, so here’s our question leading up to the big game:

How many points will Austin Freeman score?

We’ll say that Austin gets out of his little three-point slump and go for 22 points tonight. What do you think?

  1. Julien from France Says:

    16 points for Austin.
Go Hoyas! Tip-off at 3 a.m. for me, will I be able to stay awake?

  2. Bobby in Tennessee Says:

18 points. Bring us the trophy Austin!

  3. Bob from Columbia Says:

My heart says 28 for Austin to seal this Hoya resurgence … think UCONN. On with the 2010 Revenge Tour. On a neutral court with full Hoya strength and FINALLY some bench seasoning – Hoyas should take this one without the roller coaster ride. GO HOYAS!
