Georgetown:
Georgetown gritted out another win, but the Hoyas have much to improve on. They committed 18 turnovers, some on the mild press, others due to poor passing. They also gave up 16 offensive rebounds, which made it hard to pull away. On the bright side, the team got a defensive stop when they needed one, and are able to walk away from this game with a victory.

Last Second Suffering

When Jonathan Wallace made the winning free throws with one tenth of a second remaining it capped another fantastic finish for the Hoyas this season. The victory was even more enjoyable for Georgetown fans since it was such an extraordinarily frustrating loss for a bitter rival.

Pluck or Luck?

Coaches often talk in clichés. I call many of those clichés “foam peanuts”. Those are the little pieces of foam that are used to protect shipped packages. Foam peanuts have a basic purpose, but they are fluffy and a little bit annoying, and there is definitely a better way to accomplish the function they are supposed to perform - just like coach clichés. One such foam peanut is the following, “We found a way to win.”
