NCAA Tournament Veterans
By Hoya HoopsBefore the Big East Tournament Championship, we asked everybody how many points Austin Freeman would score. He put up 14 points, which means Julien from France was the closest, so he wins the 2 points for the postseason Pregame Predictions.
The Pregame Predictions competition is still in effect, and as of now, here’s the leaderboard:
Winner | # of Wins |
---|---|
Zo | 8 |
Bob from Columbia | 7 |
Emily | 5 |
Julien from France | 4 |
Bobby in Tennessee | 3 |
DBeck | 2 |
Hoyasincebirth | 2 |
Hoya Hoops | 2 |
Let’s Go Hoyas | 2 |
Missy | 1 |
Remember, postseason predictions count double, so keep that in mind as we continue. Now on to this week’s game.
Believe it or not, the Hoyas only have two players on the roster with any NCAA Tournament experience – Chris Wright and Austin Freeman. Everyone else who played in Raleigh in 2008 has graduated, transferred, or headed for the NBA. So here’s our question as the Hoyas set to face off against Ohio in the Opening Round of the tourney.
How many points will Austin Freeman and Chris Wright score against Ohio, and who will have more?
We’re going to say that Chris will lead the way with 18 and combined they’ll have 34. What do you think?
