Scoring Once Again
By Hoya HoopsLast time, we asked you to tell us which Hoya would lead the team in scoring against Rutgers. Jessie Sapp had 11 points to lead Georgetown to a low-scoring 57-47 victory over the Scarlet Knights. Unfortunately, for the second game in a row, no one correctly guessed the leading scorer. Better luck next time, everyone.
Speaking of next time, as the Hoyas turn their attention to Cincinnati, we figured we’d give this question one more go around, in the hopes that the third time’s a charm.
Who will lead the team in scoring, and with how many points?
DaJuan Summers was injured in the first half of Georgetown’s last meeting with Cincinnati and didn’t return. We think he’ll want to have an impact on this game, scoring 18 points. Put your predictions in the comments, and let’s see if we can actually get a winner to this question.

After some poor shooting in at least 3 of the last 4 games…I’m going with Austin Freeman with 17 points. He’s going to light it up from the 3 point line and he will once again bring his finesse to the game and make his layups (it’s been unlike him to miss as many as he has this year). It will be nice if DJ is right and Jessie leads the team. I’d love to see Sapp finish off the year strong.

I”ll go with Chris Wright with 16 points to make sure that we have all the starters chosen. It’s time for this team to go on anther run and make a strong push for the NCAA tourney. Let’s go hoyas!
