GU:
Not too great a performance for the Hoyas, especially in the 2nd half, but a win is a win. A lot of those shots will fall in a different game, so I think the bigger issue is the free throw shooting. The Hoyas went 8 for 17 from the line and are only hitting 55% of their free throws on the season. That’s something that definitely needs to be worked on before they reach the tough conference schedule.

The Georgetown Hoyas hung on to earn their first road victory and to improve their season record to 3-0 in Muncie, Indiana. Playing against an undermanned and undersized Ball State, Georgetown was expected to win this game easily, but the Cardinals kept the game close, falling to the Hoyas 57-48.

Hello everybody, Johnny here. Tip-off is set for about 30 minutes from now, and all the pregame hype has been about Ronny Thompson and things not too relevant to the game tonight. Hopefully the boys in blue will make the headlines tomorrow read about the #5 Hoyas going 3-0.
As usual, keep your in game thoughts right here.

For last game’s prediction, we asked you to guess which player outside of the returning starters would lead the team in scoring. Emily said it would be Freeman with 9 points, and he was the leader with 10 points. Good guessing! Now onto this game’s contest.
This past weekend, the Louisville Cardinals made 22 three pointers in their game. That’s more than the Hoyas even attempted in their recent win over the Michigan Wolverines. That gave us this idea for a question:
How many 3 pointers will the Hoyas make against Ball State, and which player will make the most?
We feel like the Hoyas are gonna have another good shooting night, but mostly from inside. Our guess is 8, with Jessie Sapp leading the way. Your turn.
