Fellow senior Henry Sims was named to All-Big East Third Team, and Hollis Thompson received an Honorable Mention.  Unfortunately, Otto Porter was not recognized as one of the conference's top rookies.</li>
<li>With all the regular season games ending on Saturday, <a href="http://bigeast.org/News/tabid/435/Article/232230/Field-Set-for-2012-BIG-EAST-Men-s-Basketball-Championship-Presented-by-American-Eagle-Outfitters.aspx">the field for the Big East Tournament</a> is set.  Georgetown finished in a three-way tie for 4th place, and due to tiebreakers ended up as the #5 seed of the tournament. Cincinnati doled out six-game suspensions Yates, Cheikh Mbodj, and Octavius Ellis.  Freshman Ge'Lawn Guyn was also suspended for one game.  If no additional suspensions are piled on, all Bearcat players should be back by the January 9th game against the Hoyas.
