With the Quarterfinal game of the Big East Tournament between Georgetown and Villanova coming up later today, we thought this would be a good time to update you on what happened last time the two teams met. It was a close game throughout, and after 48 fouls being handed out, the game ended on two Jonathan Wallace free throws with under a second to go. Here’s the gamepage for that game with our Preview, In-Game Thread, Box Score, Recap, and Analysis. For analysis, Mikey wrote a Postgame Thoughts about what he saw at the Verizon Center, and Tony talked about Villanova’s last second woes. Here’s the game page for that game, with our preview, in-game thread, box score, recap, and analysis. And just for fun, here’s the game we started that week about Hoya blowouts.
