Farewell, Macklin

By Hoya Hoops

As you now know, Vernon Macklin will not be returning to Georgetown for his junior season, electing instead to transfer. He certainly had a rocky career on the Hilltop, but all the same it will be sad to see him go. We decided to honor Vernon in this week’s Game Time.

What is your favorite memory of Vernon Macklin?

For us, it was Vernon’s game against Davidson. He showed flashes of the player he could be, making hustle plays, big dunks, even converting his free throws. Unfortunately, that will be the last time we see Vernon in the Blue and Gray. What is your favorite memory? Let us know in the comments.
